1. Acuerdo con estos términos

Estos Términos de Servicio («Términos») son un acuerdo vinculante entre usted y Mostly Tiny Ltd («nosotros», «nos») y rigen su acceso y uso de mostlypdf.com y cualquier servicio que proporcionamos a través de este. Al acceder o usar mostlypdf.com, usted acepta estos Términos. Si no está de acuerdo, no use el servicio. Fecha de vigencia: 2026-10-01.

2. How these terms fit together

These Terms apply to your Mostly Tiny account and to every Mostly Tiny product you use with it (MostlyQR, MostlyPDF, MostlyRender and MostlyPrivacy). Each product also has a short schedule at the end of that product's copy of these Terms. If a schedule and these Terms conflict, the schedule wins for that product.

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy form part of these Terms. If you are a business customer, so does our Data Processing Agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Each is published at /legal on the product's own website.

3. Who can use the services

You must be 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you use the services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

4. Consumers and business customers

You are a consumer if you use the services wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Otherwise — for example if you sign up with a work account, subscribe for an organisation or give a business tax ID — you are a business customer. Some sections of these Terms apply only to consumers and some only to business customers; they say so.

6. Acceptable use

You must use the services lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, which lists what is not allowed on each product and how to report abuse. We may remove content, disable a code, link or page, or suspend an account that breaches it, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

7. Tu contenido

Si el servicio te permite enviar contenido, conservas tus derechos en él pero otorgas a Mostly Tiny Ltd una licencia para alojarlo, almacenarlo y mostrarlo según sea necesario para operar el servicio. Eres responsable del contenido que envías y confirmas que tienes derecho a enviarlo.

8. Nuestra propiedad intelectual

Excepto tu contenido, todo el material en mostlypdf.com — incluido texto, diseño, logotipos y software — es propiedad de Mostly Tiny Ltd o sus licenciantes y está protegido por leyes de propiedad intelectual. Te otorgamos un derecho limitado, personal, intransferible y revocable de usar el servicio para su propósito previsto.

9. Tarifas y pago

Cuando el servicio es de pago, las tarifas, el ciclo de facturación y los términos de renovación son los mostrados en la compra, y pueden aplicarse impuestos. Cualquier derecho de devolución se establece en nuestra Política de devoluciones o lo requiere la ley de consumidor que te aplica.

10. Subscriptions and usage-based charges

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Some products also charge for usage — for example renders, AI requests or API calls beyond what your plan includes. The included usage, the price per unit and whether a plan is capped or keeps running are shown on the product's pricing page and in your billing settings before you buy, and the product schedule explains how usage is counted.

11. Your Mostly Tiny wallet

You can add prepaid credit (US$5 to US$1,000 per top-up) to your Mostly Tiny wallet. It pays for usage-based charges on Mostly Tiny products at the prices shown on each product's pricing page. The balance can only be used for Mostly Tiny services: it cannot be transferred, withdrawn as cash or used with anyone else, and it earns no interest. It does not expire.

Auto-recharge is off unless you turn it on. If you turn it on, you authorise us to charge your saved card the top-up amount you choose whenever your balance falls below the threshold you choose, without asking you each time. We email a receipt for every automatic charge. You can turn auto-recharge off at any time in your settings, and that stops future automatic charges immediately.

For an organisation's wallet, only its owners and admins can add cards, top up or change auto-recharge. Refunds of unused balance are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time in your billing settings; it then runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out our 14-day refund promise, your legal right to cancel if you are a consumer in the UK or EU, how usage and wallet balance are treated, and how refunds are paid.

13. Cambios en nuestras tarifas

Podemos cambiar nuestras tarifas de vez en cuando. El precio de una compra única es el que se muestra en el pago, y los cambios posteriores en nuestras tarifas no afectarán las compras que ya hayas completado.

Para suscripciones y otros cargos recurrentes, te daremos un aviso previo razonable sobre cualquier cambio en tu tarifa recurrente antes de que entre en vigor. La nueva tarifa se aplica solo a partir de tu próximo período de facturación o renovación; si no estás de acuerdo, puedes cancelar antes de que entre en vigor. Un cambio de precio nunca alterará un período de facturación que ya hayas pagado.

14. Servicios de terceros

mostlypdf.com puede enlazar o integrar servicios de terceros que no controlamos. No somos responsables de su contenido o prácticas, y tu uso de ellos se rige por sus propios términos.

15. Suspensión y terminación

Puedes dejar de usar el servicio en cualquier momento. Podemos suspender o terminar tu acceso si incumples estos Términos, o donde sea necesario para proteger el servicio o cumplir con la ley. Los Términos que por su naturaleza deben sobrevivir a la terminación continuarán aplicándose.

16. Tus derechos legales como consumidor

Nada en estos Términos excluye o limita tus derechos legales como consumidor que no pueden ser excluidos bajo la ley que te aplica. Un término injusto no es vinculante para ti; el resto de estos Términos continuará aplicándose.

Si eres un consumidor en el Reino Unido, la Ley de Derechos del Consumidor de 2015 te otorga derechos que no pueden ser excluidos ni limitados, incluyendo que los bienes sean de calidad satisfactoria, aptos para el propósito y tal como se describen (ss. 9–11), que los servicios se realicen con cuidado y habilidad razonables (s. 49), y derechos equivalentes para contenido digital (ss. 34–36); un término no es vinculante para ti en la medida en que intente excluir o restringir estos (ss. 31, 57). Si eres un consumidor en la UE, la Directiva sobre términos abusivos en contratos (93/13/EEC) significa que cualquier término que no hayamos negociado individualmente y que, contrario a la buena fe, cause un desequilibrio significativo en tu perjuicio no es vinculante para ti (Arts. 3, 6).

17. Exención de responsabilidad por garantías

En la medida permitida por la ley que te aplica, mostlypdf.com se proporciona «tal cual» y «según está disponible» sin garantías de ningún tipo, y no garantizamos que sea ininterrumpido, libre de errores o seguro. Nada en esta sección excluye ni limita ninguna garantía, promesa o derecho que no pueda ser excluido por ley, incluyendo, para los consumidores, los derechos legales descritos arriba (por ejemplo, conforme a la Ley de Derechos del Consumidor de 2015 del Reino Unido, que los bienes sean de calidad satisfactoria y los servicios se realicen con cuidado y habilidad razonables).

18. Limitación de responsabilidad

Sujeto a tus derechos legales como consumidor descritos arriba y en la medida permitida por la ley que te aplica, Mostly Tiny Ltd no será responsable por pérdidas indirectas, incidentales, especiales o consecuentes, o pérdida de ganancias, datos o reputación, que surjan de tu uso de mostlypdf.com; y nuestra responsabilidad total por cualquier reclamación se limita a la cantidad que nos pagaste, si la hay, por el servicio en los 12 meses anteriores a la reclamación. Nada en estos Términos excluye ni limita nuestra responsabilidad donde sería ilegal hacerlo, incluyendo responsabilidad por muerte o lesión personal causada por nuestra negligencia, por fraude o representación fraudulenta, o cualquier otra responsabilidad que no pueda ser excluida ni limitada conforme a la ley que te aplica.

19. If you are a business customer

This section applies only to business customers and replaces, for them, the limit in "Limitation of liability" above.

Data Processing Agreement. Where we process personal data on your behalf — for example the scan data of people who scan your QR codes, the consent records of your website's visitors, or the documents and pages you ask us to process — our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms, without a separate signature.

Liability. Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) £1,000. We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss. None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The consumer rights described in these Terms and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy do not apply to business customers; our 14-day refund promise does.

20. Ley aplicable y controversias

Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes de England and Wales, y los tribunales de England and Wales tienen jurisdicción sobre cualquier controversia relacionada con ellos.

Si eres un consumidor, esta elección de ley no elimina la protección de las leyes de protección del consumidor obligatorias del país donde vives, y también puedes ejercitar acciones en los tribunales del país donde vives.

21. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law, in our services or in how we run them. We will email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect and show the new effective date here. If you do not agree, you can cancel or close your account before the change takes effect, and a change never alters a billing period you have already paid for. Changes that are not material — such as clearer wording — take effect when we publish them.

23. MostlyPDF: the service and usage

MostlyPDF provides tools to convert, edit and process PDF files, an AI assistant and an API. Many tools run in your browser; others process your file on our servers. AI requests and API usage beyond your plan are charged per use from your Mostly Tiny wallet at the prices on the pricing page, and the usage is shown in your account.

24. MostlyPDF: the AI assistant

AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Check them against the document before you rely on them. They are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

The assistant is provided by Anthropic, which processes the text you send it on our behalf. Under its commercial terms that text is not used to train its models and is deleted from its systems within 30 days, except where it must keep it longer by law or to enforce its usage policies. Do not use the assistant on a document you are not allowed to share with a service provider.

25. MostlyPDF: who owns the outputs

As between you and us, you own the files we generate from your inputs, subject to any rights third parties have in the material you give us or ask us to capture. We claim no rights in them beyond the licence we need to store, process and deliver them to you.
